Wide, round bowls with flat bottoms and a lip that allows for the pouring of the matcha.
Bowls are approximately 5 to 8 inches wide and 3 to 5 inches tall. Detailed sizing requests can be discussed with the artist.
Each is hand crafted from porcelain or stoneware clay and decorated with a unique motif and glaze combination.
While most tea bowls are dishwasher safe if washed on the top rack. Use your better judgement.
Microwave safety varies based on the glaze.
The bowls pictured are only samples of what is possible for glazes. We typically do not add designs to the bottom of the bowls, but can accommodate such a request.
The price of the bowl does NOT include a whisk.
Bowls shown use white stoneware (KMW White Bear), and brown stoneware (Laugna WC391) clay bodies.
Whisks are a $15 additional option that can be selected. These whisks are imported directly from Japan and sold at cost.
